Job Description

Support local students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging contract role near Dallas, TX. Your expertise will make a lasting impact by helping children strengthen their communication abilities, ensuring growth and academic success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
