Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and changing environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy to students, both individually and in group settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain complete and accurate records of student progress
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers and parents, offering strategies and support
