Job Description
Make a direct impact on student development as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Work full-time, 40 hours per week on a contract basis, providing critical speech and language services in a supportive school environment near Dallas, TX. This position focuses on both hands-on therapy and the organizational elements vital for students success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students with a range of needs
- Oversee case management, including documentation and coordination with educators and families
- Track student progress and update goals, adapting treatment plans as needed throughout the year
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support each students educational plan
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working as an SLP in school or educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage caseloads, write reports, and set therapy goals
- Passion for supporting student achievement and ongoing development
