This full-time position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about supporting elementary and middle school students in their communication development. Working at a single school location right outside Dallas, GA, you will play a vital role in empowering students academic and social success.
What makes this position unique is the ongoing collaboration with faculty to shape caseloads, providing the chance to impact both elementary and middle grades as needs shift throughout the year. School assignments and caseload sizes are currently being finalized, creating flexibility and variety in your daily experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Active and professional state licensure; GA PSC certification required (new mandate)
- SLP credential must be current; assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this role
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and drug screening for credentialing
Your Role Will Involve:
- Delivering speech-language services to students in elementary and middle grades
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Monitoring progress, documenting intervention, and participating in IEP processes
- Adhering to all district, state, and professional standards
