Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting supporting children and adolescents is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual, small group, and classroom settings
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required by the school and state guidelines
  • Consult with classroom teachers and other school personnel to support integration of communication goals
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations and goal-setting for students
  • Educate and empower families with resources and strategies to reinforce progress at home
