As an SLP serving K-5 students, you will play a crucial part in fostering communication, language, and social skills, helping children thrive academically and personally. This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 37.5 hours per week, providing the structure needed to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License (GA SLP License)
- GA Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy for students in kindergarten through fifth grade
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide direct intervention as well as consultative services
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
