Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP license in the state of Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of current best practices in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a variety of backgrounds and needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver targeted therapy in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain detailed documentation of progress and data for each student
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support generalization of skills across school environments
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility determinations, and ongoing professional development
  • Provide recommendations and resources for classroom strategies to support student achievement
