Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or with a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Provide direct therapy services, targeting receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, and other communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support students progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with local and state regulations
  • Attend meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
