Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) interested in contributing their skills in a vibrant school setting for the 20262027 academic year. We are seeking passionate professionals with proven expertise in school-based speech-language services to support students and educators in a dynamic, inclusive educational environment near Cypress, TX.
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Texas SLP or SLPA license (documentation required)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based setting
- Qualified to work on-site and provide in-person services
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience with students from diverse backgrounds
- Bilingual skills for SLPs (highly valued)
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation
- Previous service within HISD (if applicable)
Professional Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote optimal outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate assessment and progress records
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
