Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language therapy services in a supportive school environment near Cullman, AL. Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellow (CFY) status
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a speech-language pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with suspected communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
  • Deliver therapy services, both individual and group, as outlined in student IEPs
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the educational setting
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student achievement
