This contract opportunity focuses on pediatric caseloads, guiding children to reach their communication and language goals. Utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, and implement effective therapy, and collaborate with educators and families to foster student progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs may be considered
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
- Solid understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation procedures
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and execute evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate records and prepare timely reports for IEP meetings and compliance
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a diverse range of student abilities
- Support generalization of communication skills within the school setting
