Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs may be considered
• Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting
• Solid understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation procedures
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop and execute evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain accurate records and prepare timely reports for IEP meetings and compliance
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of therapy goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
• Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a diverse range of student abilities
• Support generalization of communication skills within the school setting
