Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligible
- Experience in pediatric and middle school caseloads, including assessment and intervention planning
- Knowledge of educational best practices related to student speech and language needs
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and related school documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide both direct and consultative services in collaboration with teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver therapy in group and individual settings as appropriate
