Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for students in a PreK8 setting. The SLP will support students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders that impact educational performance and social participation.

This position is approximately 12 days per week with a manageable caseload of 1521 students.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for PreK8 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
• Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance records
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and team meetings as needed
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
• Promote communication confidence, participation, and student engagement

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
