This contract position offers you the chance to work on-site with a diverse K-8 caseload, applying your SLP expertise to help students reach their full potential throughout the current and extended school year.
In this role, youll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to deliver quality speech and language services. The assignment is full-time, providing stability and the opportunity to build valuable relationships as you support learners communication development.
What were looking for:
- Valid California SLP License
- Experience supporting students in K-8 settings (preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Passion for fostering student growth and inclusion
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based group and individual speech therapy
- Consult with educators and provide classroom strategies to support student needs
- Maintain meticulous documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as an essential member of the educational team
