Two contract opportunities are available for skilled Speech Language Pathologists to support pediatric students in a school-based setting near Cottageville, SC. Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is required
- South Carolina Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatrics strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Committed to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy services
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive student care
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and professional guidance to school staff regarding communication and language development
- Adapt approaches and schedules as needed to best serve students and support staff flexibility
