Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, serving K-12 students across multiple buildings for the upcoming school year. This assignment offers a friendly, collaborative environment dedicated to supporting students with speech and language needs. You will be joining a supportive educational team in a beautiful area, working with a manageable caseload primarily composed of students with low behavioral needs. The district seeks an in-person SLP to provide robust support and consistency to students currently served virtually.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Ability to practice independently as a school-based SLP
- Previous experience in schools highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility working across multiple school buildings and with diverse student groups
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Provide support and professional guidance to teachers regarding speech and language interventions
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Work full-time, 37.5-40 hours per week, for the duration of the academic year
