Job Description

Youll work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that includes school psychologists, behavioral consultants, and specialists for students with complex needs, all dedicated to advancing student communication and academic success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • A few years of clinical experience or more
  • State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License and/or Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) preferred
  • Background working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities
  • Experience with both low- and high-tech augmentative communication systems desirable
  • Valid Oregon Drivers License
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Potential requirement to hold valid First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language support to students across multiple school settings based on district needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop innovative treatment strategies to address student communication barriers
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other service professionals to design and implement intervention plans
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and progress monitoring
  • Provide consultative services and training to staff and families related to augmentative communication and speech-language needs

Multiple positions are available. Assignments and specific sites will be determined closer to the start of the academic year, so adaptability is valued.
