A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located near North St. Paul, MN. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek beginning with the school year starting on October 30th. The caseload will include students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing a comprehensive scope of practice within the K-12 educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory
- Experience working in school settings highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while providing high-quality care
