Job Description

This rewarding full-time contract opportunity accommodates two professionals for leave of absence coverage, with anticipated start dates in mid-October and mid-November. You'll have the chance to work onsite with students spanning diverse age groups, supporting their communication and language development while advancing your clinical skills.

Qualifications/Experience Sought:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license required
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth in a supportive, inclusive atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students as part of the special education team
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation, adhering to school and compliance guidelines
  • Travel between assigned schools in the San Juan Capistrano area as needed
  • Support student needs across various grade levels with flexibility and professionalism
