Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology licensure required
  • Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work with students across a variety of age groups and learning needs
  • Flexibility in managing a diverse caseload and adapting to different school settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions targeting communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Serve as a resource for staff on communication disorders and language development
