Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide temporary maternity leave coverage in a school setting in Corydon, Indiana. The assignment is expected to begin in early December 2026 and last approximately 12 weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8:15 AM3:45 PM, providing an opportunity for an SLP to support students while covering an established caseload during the leave period.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Implement established treatment plans and provide services outlined in student IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress throughout the assignment
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings as needed
- Support students' communication, language, and academic participation
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and related service providers
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to quickly transition into an established school-based caseload
Qualifications
- Indiana SLP License
- Indiana Department of Education (DOE) SLP Certification
- Ability to provide school-based speech-language services
Experience
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
- Experience transitioning into temporary or leave-coverage assignments is a plus
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
