Job Description

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Masters level degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates may be considered
  • Previous experience working in educational settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
  • Effective communicator, adept at collaborating with educators, students, and families
  • Organizational skills and adaptability to work across various school settings or age groups

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational teams
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy services one-on-one or in small groups, targeting speech and language goals
  • Maintain accurate records according to school and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure a team approach to student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support students across diverse backgrounds and abilities to maximize their educational experience
