Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process, evaluation tools, and therapy techniques
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to motivate, advocate, and connect with students of varying abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Provide direct speech-language therapy and interventions in group and individual settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and other specialists
• Contribute to IEP meetings and document progress to support educational goals
• Offer support, resources, and education to staff and families
• Maintain current and accurate records and adhere to compliance timelines
• Stay updated with current best practices in school-based speech therapy
