Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting working with children is preferred
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Delivering direct therapy services to address communication disorders in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborating consistently with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement student goals
- Keeping thorough, compliant documentation and progress notes
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies
- Supporting and educating families and staff on strategies to enhance student communication
