Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity runs through the 2026/2027 school year and offers the chance to provide essential case management, direct and indirect therapy services, and ongoing progress tracking for students in need of communication support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required
  • Valid New York state SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a school environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy for a high school caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and external professionals to support student progress
  • Provide case management to ensure services align with IEP goals and meet compliance standards
  • Track and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize growth
