Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Corona, CA, offering a full-time contract for the current school year. This role requires on-site presence and provides the opportunity to work within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss caseload management and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California SLP license and appropriate Teaching Credential (CTC) are required.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to educational environments.
  • Ability to comply with state and federal educational regulations.

Schedule and Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a 7-hour workday.
  • Half-hour unpaid lunch daily.
  • Average caseload will be reviewed and discussed during the interview process.
  • Position requires consistent on-site attendance.
