Job Description

Two full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available at a K-12 school located in Corona, CA, for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. These in-person roles involve working approximately 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, when school is in session (excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch break), with a workweek of up to 40 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations as required
  • Prepare detailed reports and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide therapy services as needed, though most therapy sessions are conducted by Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Manage an average caseload of approximately 55 students, primarily at elementary school sites

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Comfortable working within a school setting
  • Experience supporting K-12 students is preferred
