Job Description

A full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year from August through December. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech therapy services to elementary and high school students, with caseloads ranging from approximately 53 to 65 students across one to two school sites. A California SLP license is required, and Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and diagnostics for a diverse caseload with mild to severe disabilities.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in Instructional Support Team (IST) meetings.
  • Provide in-person, direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs.
  • Manage caseload responsibilities at multiple school sites, including one elementary and one high school site with an eAcademy program.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but candidates completing their CFY are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pediatric and school-based therapy settings strongly desired.
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites efficiently.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person services; virtual service delivery is not applicable.

Location and Work Schedule:

  • Position is based near Corona, CA with additional school sites located approximately 40 minutes away.
  • Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours weekly across school days.
