This contract role offers a supportive environment and a steady, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Texas SLP license
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering students speech, language, and social skills growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with targeted goals for each student
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress throughout the school year
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy techniques to support diverse learning needs and abilities
