Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience or clinical practicum in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and classroom strategies
