Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Experience or clinical practicum in school-based settings strongly preferred

  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in one-on-one and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and classroom strategies
