Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate strategies within the classroom
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress and therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert guidance for educational teams
