Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one
  • Experience working in school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, IEP development, and therapy delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results
  • Write and maintain accurate and timely assessment reports, documentation, and progress notes
  • Participate and contribute to IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student progress
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to students needs
  • Consult regularly with teachers and families to maximize carryover of skills to the classroom and home settings
  • Offer training and resources to school staff to support speech and language objectives
