This rewarding part-time opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to positively impact students throughout the upcoming 26/27 school year. With a flexible 20-hour workweek, youll be able to work closely with an elementary-aged caseload while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What were looking for:
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based and pediatric speech therapy
- Effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs within an elementary school environment
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech, language, and hearing screenings, evaluations, and assessments
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Delivering tailored therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
- Keeping accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school district and legal requirements
- Providing support and consultation to classroom teachers for implementing strategies
