Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as an experienced Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students during the initial nine-week period of the upcoming school year. This full-time assignment requires on-site services at two campuses near Converse, TX, beginning August 17, 2026, through October 9, 2026. This role is ideal for a professional looking to contribute during a maternity leave coverage, working a consistent 37.5-hour workweek within a welcoming school environment.

As part of your responsibilities, you will provide direct speech and language therapy to students and supervise a bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Your expertise will help ensure continuity of care and support for students communication needs. District interviews are scheduled for April 27, 2026, so qualified candidates should be prepared for a prompt selection process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holds a current Speech Language Pathologist professional license (CCC required)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Bilingual abilities required
  • Experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs is a plus
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting/background check
  • Ability to start and commit to the full contracted dates
