Job Description

Enhance the academic and communication growth of students by providing speech and language services in a supportive, collaborative school environment. This contract position, spanning August through June 2027, offers the opportunity to serve a diverse K-12 caseload on-site, working 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Texas licensure as an SLP or SLPA
  • CCC certification for SLPs preferred
  • School-based or pediatric speech-language pathology experience a plus
  • Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills for communication disorders
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Organizational abilities to manage documentation, schedules, and communication efficiently

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
  • Deliver direct therapy in both group and individual settings
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support and integration of therapy goals in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessment data
  • Stay updated with current practices and compliance standards in school speech-language pathology
