Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) working onsite with K-12 students for the upcoming academic year through June 2027. Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
- Background in providing services for K-12 students in educational settings
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to fostering student growth and success
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across various grade levels
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to facilitate optimum learning environments
- Monitor and report student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering guidance and recommendations as part of the multidisciplinary team
