Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school district setting near Conroe, TX. This on-site position begins August 12, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference for students across varied campuses in the North Houston area. What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student needs
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, fostering communication development
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
- Serve mainly at one school site, with some roles supporting multiple campuses
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Partner with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Adapt interventions to meet the varied needs of your caseload (age group and size TBD)
- Stay current on best practices and district protocols
