Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions for a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Offer direct and consultative therapy services to students
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student progress
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in speech therapy
