Job Description
Deliver speech-language pathology services in a supportive school district setting in Charlotte, NC (28208). This contract role involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade at one location, offering a meaningful opportunity to impact student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy to a diverse student population
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding school-based services
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License (NC SLP License) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based experience strongly preferred, though clinicians passionate about school settings are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated commitment to serving children in educational settings
Position Details:
- 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
