This role centers on supporting students ranging from early childhood (Pre K) through high school, allowing you to make a difference in lives at every stage of development.
As a valued professional, your expertise in pediatric and school settings will help address speech, language, and communication challenges. Working closely with students in grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12, as well as early childhood and elementary settings, youll collaborate with educators and families to create impactful intervention plans. Your day-to-day will be engaging and varied, as you help students achieve academic and personal success.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) for practice in the state
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, ideally within school environments
- Familiarity with speech and language interventions across multiple age groups (Pre K, K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs individually and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with students, staff, and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students of varying ages and abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
