Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, working onsite with students across K-12 levels. This full-time role is based near Concord, CA, and welcomes travelers from across California. Youll have the chance to support a diverse caseload, helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active California SLP-CCC license required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued
- Open to both SLPs who have completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CCC) and those seeking it (CFY)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt communication and strategies for students aged kindergarten through high school
- Comfortable working onsite throughout the school year from August 8, 2026, to May 26, 2027
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, individualized per IEP requirements
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
- Offer support and mentorship to SLP-CFY candidates, if eligible
