Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Concord, CA. This onsite contract role runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, offering the opportunity to work directly with students across all grade levels to support their communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to meet evolving student needs
- Communicate regularly with school staff, parents, and the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Current California Speech Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders affecting children in grades K-12
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating effectively with school teams
