Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Columbus, OH, with both full-time and part-time openings. This role offers the opportunity to work directly in an elementary, middle, or high school setting, delivering in-person speech therapy services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Provide direct therapy services that meet state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience or interest in working with children in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
  • Candidates who are Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates or recent graduates (CFs) will be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location: Columbus, Ohio

This contract role offers direct interaction with students in a supportive educational environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, accommodating a variety of schedules. Initial consideration will be given to candidates who can provide in-person services.
