Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans
- Organizational skills for documentation and time management
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and deliver therapy interventions tailored to individual or group goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to align support strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely records for assessments, progress notes, and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, share recommendations, and contribute valuable insights to student success plans
- Provide support and education to staff and families regarding communication development
