Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP license (or eligibility) for the state of Ohio
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience with school-aged children preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress reporting, and collaboration with educational teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs using best practices and standardized assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking
- Contribute as an active member in IEP meetings and consultations
