We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping young learners overcome communication challenges and will be able to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFYs considered
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to work with students from varied backgrounds and developmental levels
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students across kindergarten through high school
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs in coordination with IEP teams
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to foster students' communication and academic success
- Offer support and guidance to school staff on speech and language issues
