Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Georgia state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the evaluation process for students suspected of speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress and provide strategies for generalization in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility and goals discussions
