Job Description

Bring your passion for supporting childrens communication and language development to a rewarding full-time contract opportunity serving elementary students. Located near Columbus, GA, this onsite role will allow you to make a significant impact while collaborating with staff in a vibrant school environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Youll have the chance to work with a diverse elementary caseload, using your expertise to empower students and give them the tools they need to thrive.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Solid understanding of a variety of communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, educators, and families
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and report on student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, engaging school culture
