This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is designed for professionals who are committed to supporting young learners in their speech and language development within a dynamic school environment near Columbus, GA.
Key Qualifications:
- Active GA SLP License
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, including SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or equivalent
- Proficiency in pediatric and healthcare SLP frameworks
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to varying caseload needs within an elementary school context
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with school faculty, families, and support staff to maximize each childs learning potential
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as needed
