Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFYs also considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities in school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers and caregiversto support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Monitor and document therapy outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, advocate for students, and engage in ongoing professional development
