Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records and comply with district policies and state regulations
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families, enhancing support for students
  • Foster an inclusive and communicative classroom environment
