Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina SLP license
  • Active SC Educator Certification
  • CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) status preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience strongly valued
  • Comfort working with a K-12 caseload
  • Familiarity with IEPs, documentation requirements, and progress monitoring
  • Experience with teletherapy a plus, but not required (onsite role)
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech/language assessments for students with varying needs
  • Develop and update measurable, individualized goals for each student
  • Actively participate in and, when appropriate, lead IEP meetings
  • Provide targeted, evidence-based direct therapy services to address communication challenges
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports as required by district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school teams to ensure student success
