Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid South Carolina SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience within school settings strongly preferred
- Proven commitment to supporting student growth and academic achievement
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse student population
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with applicable laws
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, offering strategies and support
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
